Adam Zak, founder and Managing Director of Adam Zak Executive Search, has provided senior level Lean recruiting services to organizations around the world. He’s passionate about his work and committed to his clients’ success, offering more than two decades of focused industry experience. Mr. Zak exemplifies excellence in his innate ability to connect executive talent with businesses built on Lean practices and methodologies.
Mr. Zak’s proven and highly successful approach melds strategic analysis with aggressive process-driven search execution. He works with companies, not for them. As such, he has become one of the leading executive recruiters in his field today with a loyal client base and extensive professional network, including brilliant Lean implementers at all levels of business operations.
Prior to launching Adam Zak Executive Search, he held senior posts with executive search organizations in Chicago, San Francisco and New York. Mr. Zak began his career with KPMG Peat Marwick and subsequently worked in senior financial and general management roles at venture capital and start-up companies in Washington and California.
Mr. Zak earned his baccalaureate in accounting from the University of Illinois and holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. He’s a frequent speaker and writer on the topics of international business management, manufacturing technology and executive leadership.
Adam Zak is an active member of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI), Executives Club of Chicago, Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the International Society for Sustainability Professionals (ISSP), and Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE).
