Bristol Compressors International is a designer and manufacturer of highly specialized industrial components utilized in consumer residential and commercial building applications. The company supplies these complex engineered, machined and assembled products to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and wholesale distributors on six continents and in more than 50 countries around the world and maintains market-leading positions in both North America and the Middle East.
The company’s operations are fully integrated, with world-class machining capabilities that complement high-volume assembly lines. But change is in the air, as our client has recently launched a company-wide initiative to achieve excellence in all business processes in order to support global customers’ continuous improvement expectations in quality and supply. Operations are being designed around Lean manufacturing techniques, with a focus on safety, quality and operational effectiveness.
While competitors continue to offshore their manufacturing operations to cut costs, our client remains a showcase for the expertise of American manufacturing, committed to winning in the global marketplace with superior products and services provided by experienced, dedicated American workers. Thus the company’s renewed focus on significant productivity improvement to delight customers with what they value, achieved through Lean manufacturing and operational excellence principles and practices.
When we needed a new VP of Manufacturing for Bristol Compressors, the first person we called was Adam Zak. Adam’s reputation and track record for recruiting outstanding operations talent is unmatched. Adam was thorough and aggressive, and presented several exceptional candidates for our consideration. The individual we hired is a perfect match for Bristol, an executive with the exact skills, experience and leadership style we wanted.
